The Visalia Buddhist Temple celebrated 100 years of service November 3 and 4, 2007. Kicking off the event was a Chigo Parade. We also held a Sarana Ceremony, which is the presenting of Buddhist names by the Socho of Buddhist Churches of America. The Centennial Celebration was presided over by 9 visiting priests. A banquet at Holiday Inn followed.
